Bretz Inc. Excavation (formerly known as JBS Enterprises) is a small family business based in Tonasket, WA Established in 1996 by Joe & Renee Bretz. Joe is no stranger to heavy equipment. After graduating from high school he studied welding and fabrications. He became a certified diesel mechanic and worked for several logging companies before steering towards the adventure of self- employment when he purchased his first skidder and self-loading log truck. His operating experience developed over several years and he decided to merge into the excavation business. His attention to quality work for a fair price has earned him a reputation for excellence. The majority of his business has been by referrals from satisfied customers. As a dedicated husband and father of three young men owning and operating a small business can be both challenging and rewarding. He enjoys working with landowners to help discover their property's hidden potential and create the best home site, landscape, land development options possible.  As his sons get older he is proud to have them work alongside him learning about and growing the business in their own talents.
